We work with clients in the greater Portland area and are here to support you in whatever decisions you make regarding birth and motherhood. If you are considering an out-of-hospital birth or a hospital birth with a doula or monitrice please feel free to browse our site and contact us with any questions you may have. We offer free consultaions for all of our services.
Having a baby is a time of great excitement and anticipation, but it is also an overwhelming and exhausting period in one's life. New parents tend to forget about their own needs.
A doula helps nurture the mama and her family as a role model, teacher, friend and giver of unconditional support. Often times, your doula is the only person on your birth team who will remain with you throughout the entire process, who knows your wishes and desires, and can guide you to a positive experience, regardless of specific outcomes.
