When my husband and I were first researching our birthing options, we were immediately drawn to Angela's philosophy of support for both the laboring woman and her partner. We could not be more grateful to have had her as our doula. Prior to our son David's birth, she was willing to meet with our medical support team to ensure everyone was in agreement regarding our birth preferences and to enhance the familiarity the team would have on the day of our son's birth. She met with my husband and me several times to provide support as we prepared to birth our son as naturally as possible. During the 21 hour labor, it became evident that medical complications would impede our preferred method of birthing, but we felt completely and utterly supported by Angela during this time that could have otherwise been very frightening without her knowledgeable, experienced and nurturing presence. She helped us stay calm and to ask the questions that would aid us in making one of the most important decisions of our lives. I'm not sure what we would have done without her, and I'm so very glad we'll never have to know.

My husband and I were so thankful to have met Angela early in my pregnancy. The support she provided during that time was invaluable. Not only was she knowledgeable, resourceful, and professional, she was an extremely soothing presence throughout my labor with Stella. Along with caring, competent support before and after the birth, she provided us with the option of placenta encapsulation. We are thankful for that service and found it very helpful in regulating my hormone levels during the weeks postpartum. We could not have asked for a more blissful, empowering journey and Angela was an integral part of that.

Hiring Angela as our doula was hands down, the absolute best birth decision we made.  It surpassed any birth class or labor preparation we could have done.  Angela was available during our pregnancy for support and, prior to the actual birth, made sure we were comfortable with the process of birthing with a doula at the hospital.  When we went into labor, Angela was right by our side for over 30 hours.  Angela is a natural; she is encouraging, compassionate, motivating, calming, nurturing and professional.  Her energy and spirit never waned, despite the 2 days of labor.  Angela fit perfectly into the labor process and was never overpowering.  She used her experience and wisdom to assist and coach my husband, giving him the tools and encouragement he needed to support me through the labor.   Angela's background in massage was well utilized to relieve the back labor and pains of each contraction.  After our daughter was born, Angela checked in on us to ensure everything was going well and to see how she could assist us with our new baby.  Each time we tell our birth story, the first words out of our mouth are "We could not have done it without our doula!"  We look forward to working with Angela again in the future!  With gratitude,
